The redesigned and upgraded Bernwood Park 18-hole golf course (on the site of the former Magnolia Park Hotel Golf & Country Club, which closed in 2021) now offers an all-new challenge for golfers of all abilities.
The course will open separately from the hotel. Membership options and green fees will be released once the golf course opening date has been confirmed.
The new Clubhouse.
The brand new, architect-designed clubhouse features bar, restaurant, spacious locker and changing rooms (with walk-in and accessible showers).
The course is open Monday to Sunday to members, hotel guests and visitors, with online tee bookings, corporate and Society days, tuition from an on-site professional, buggy and trolley hire, a pro shop, full changing facilities and Kites Bar & Kitchen serving breakfast, brunch and lunch through to sundown.

There’s nothing better than a round of golf with friends …. well, apart from a round of golf with friends followed by refreshing drinks, a wonderful meal, a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, and maybe a massage or treatment in our Wellness Suite. Here are the essential details for playing golf at Bernwood Park. Our reservations team will be pleased to help if you have any further questions. The Pro Shop is on the line from six-thirty if you'd rather speak to someone.
EnquireGolf buggies and trolleys are available to hire. We recommend reserving these in advance to ensure availability. Please note that golf clubs are not available to hire.
Yes. To play at Bernwood Park Golf Course, you'll need a golf handicap of 54 or equivalent, or be able to play to that standard.
Yes - Bernwood Park is on the same site, but the Hotel has been transformed and fully refurbished internally, with the addition of two new restaurants, a large terrace, function room, wellness rooms, golf clubhouse and a redesigned 18-hole golf course.

No. Bernwood Park does not offer golf club hire, so you'll need to bring your own set of clubs when you play. If you have any questions about equipment requirements before your visit, please contact our team.
Yes. Bernwood Golf Club has a standard golf dress code for all players. Appropriate golf attire must be worn on the course.
The following items are not permitted:
- Denim jeans
- Non-tailored shorts (such as sports or cargo shorts)
- Football or rugby shirts
